📜 Community Guidelines

PikiHub is a community for sharing videos, music and creativity. These rules keep it fun and safe for everyone. Violations may result in warnings, content removal, or account bans — depending on severity and repeat offenses.

1. Respect others

No harassment, hate speech, threats, or bullying. Be kind — everyone here started somewhere.

2. No illegal or harmful content

Don't post content that is illegal, dangerous, or promotes harm. This includes exploits of other people's accounts and malware.

3. Respect copyright

Only upload content you have the right to share. Report content that infringes your rights and we will review it.

4. No spam or abuse

Don't flood uploads, comments, or messages, and don't manipulate views or likes. Quality over quantity.

5. Reports & moderation

Use the 🚩 Report button on any video, comment, or profile. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. False reporting may itself be punished.

Upload Media

Notice: Video files over 50MB will be automatically compressed in your browser until they're 50MB or under.

Post Destination:

Title (Max 100 chars): What type of project is this?

Media File (.mp4 or .mp3):

Thumbnail:

Default Generate from Video Upload Custom (1:1, max 32MB)

Tags (comma separated, e.g. funny, retro, tutorial): Video Description / Video Disc (Max 10,000 chars): Subtitles (optional — .srt or .vtt files, add as many languages as you like):

Mark as NSFW / Sensitive Content (blurs the thumbnail until clicked)

Also make a small 320p copy for Netbook Mode viewers (weak or old PCs get smooth playback). It is made in your browser right after the upload finishes, so keep this tab open and in front until the progress box in the corner says it is ready. It's encoded as H.264 Baseline (MP4) whenever your browser supports it, so it also decodes smoothly on very old/low-power devices like Android 4.1 (falls back to WebM if your browser can't encode MP4). Only videos longer than 30 minutes or already about 320p are skipped.

When was this recorded? (today or earlier) Who was on it?

ALLOW IFRAMES

When enabled, users can post iframe embeds via upload. OFF by default.

💾 Egress Saver

EGRESS SAVER

Caches feeds, lists and images so repeat page loads reuse the browser cache instead of re-downloading rows from Supabase — uses less database egress and loads faster on slow internet. Images are served small while on.

📄 Office Files

ALLOW OFFICE FILES

When enabled, users can upload .doc/.docx/.xls/.xlsx/.ppt/.pptx files. OFF by default.

🔗 Raw Video Links

SHOW RAW VIDEO LINK

Lets viewers see/copy a video's direct file URL from the player's right-click menu (Video Info) and PikiHub Lite. Suspended videos never expose their raw link regardless of this setting. ON by default.

🎵 Music Albums

ALLOW MUSIC ALBUM UPLOADS

When enabled, users can upload music albums with multiple tracks and the custom orange player. ON by default.

🔒 Lockdown Mode

LOCKDOWN

Mild blocks new account sign-ups and new uploads for regular users. Admins and the owner can still upload. Strong blocks the ENTIRE site behind a black screen for everyone except the owner and admins — only login still works for everyone else.

OFF

🔒 STRONG

Blocklist (IPs & Countries)

Hard-blocks visitors: matching IPs or countries get a full-page error and cannot use the site at all. Owners and admins always bypass it.

🎛️ Video Player

USE CUSTOM PIKIHUB PLAYER

When ON, videos play with the custom orange PikiHub skin (thin control bar, tap-to-seek ±10s, hover/drag scrub preview). When OFF (default), videos use the browser's native player controls.

📁 PostFile CDN (Server 2)

POSTFILE UPLOADS

When enabled, users can choose "PostFile CDN" as an upload destination. 50MB limit per file. OFF by default.

MAKE POSTFILE DEFAULT

When enabled, "PostFile CDN" is pre-selected as the upload destination instead of "Website".

📦 Catbox (Server 3)

WHO CAN USE CATBOX

Controls who sees "Catbox (200MB)" as an upload destination. Uploads go through the catbox-service worker.

🚫 Supabase Storage

DISABLE SUPABASE UPLOADS

When ON, Website uploads to Supabase are blocked. Users must use PostFile CDN instead. Requires PostFile to be enabled.

💽 PIKI_AI

DISABLE PIKI_AI SITE-WIDE

When ON, the 💽(AI) PIKI_AI account is hidden from EVERYONE's DM list, regardless of their own per-account setting. Individual users can also hide it for just themselves from its entry in their DM list (🚫).

📼 Extra Video Copies

320P COPY DESTINATION

Where browser-made 320p copies upload: Supabase Storage or PostFile CDN (needs PostFile enabled).

THIRD COPY QUALITY (ADMINS ONLY)

After the 320p copy, admins also export one extra copy in the picked quality — only from big-enough originals. Viewers pick it in the player Quality menu.

🎃 Seasonal Site Themes

SEASONAL THEMES ENABLED

When OFF, the snow drip, spider webs and tree lights are hidden for everyone and the Limited themes disappear from Settings.

SITE THEME MODE

User = everyone keeps their own theme. Force = everyone sees the picked seasonal theme. Choice = users get a Limited-theme notice and can pick it in Background theme.

SEASONAL PICK

♿ Old-Device Compatibility

ALLOW "CONTINUE ANYWAY" ON THE BROWSER-TOO-OLD SCREEN

When ON (default), devices that fail browser checks can press "Continue Anyway" and enter the site in a light compatibility mode (aimed at Android 4.x). When OFF, devices older than Android 4 or iOS 11 are blocked from continuing.

OLDEST BROWSER ENGINE ALLOWED
